GoldenEar has just announced that they have begun shipping their new Invisa HTR 7000 and Invisa MPX architectural speakers.  These models were first shown at CES and CEDIA and are now available just in time for the summer

Invisa HTR 7000:
Designed for use as ceiling-mounted LCR or surround speaker, it utilizes the GoldenEar High Velocity Folded Ribbon tweeter, providing high-frequency performance with low distortion. To enhance imaging, GoldenEar has equipped the 7000 with a perfectly angled 7? cast-basket driver taken from the company’s Aon 3 bookshelf.  This driver array is positioned to produce the effect of sound coming from the front wall rather than the ceiling.  A magnetic microperf grille makes the speaker unnoticeable.

Utlizes GoldenEar’s High Velocity Folded Ribbon tweeter, flanked by a pair of angled 5? bass/midrange drivers, to combine direct radiation with a bipolar effect.  The speaker is best suited to surround speaker applications.
