Last year LG displayed a bendable / rollable display as a proof of concept at CES, and this year the 18-inch prototype display at the LG booth at CES is showing that the technology is closer to coming to market than we previously expected. Building on LG’s success with OLED TVs, this display bends very easily and can be rolled up just like a newspaper. What types of products can we expect to see these displays in? LG said to look out for bendable displays in smartphones, tablets, curving displays and even car interiors. It seems the future of displays has a curvy future!
