The NSMT Loudspeaker Company has just released their new 30M, which is a new transmission-line tower speaker entrant to their existing Mastering Series line. What is very impressive is that the rather small demure size of this product, measuring 40” x 8.5” x 8.5”, which utilizes only a two driver coherent point source, provides a rated frequency response of 27 Hz to 20 kHz (+/-3.5dB).

The 30M is a time coherent, point source, first order, two-way transmission line loudspeaker designed to reproduce music with superior musicality, coherence, spatial presentation, speed and tonality. A single concentric two-way driver employs a one inch soft dome tweeter and a 6.5 inch poly woofer. The minimalist first order crossover uses a laminated metal core copper inductor, polypropylene capacitor by-passed with film foil capacitor and metal oxide resistor. On the rear are five-way gold plated binding posts. The cabinet itself is black lacquer painted 0.75-inch formaldehyde-free anti-resonant mediate board with black fabric veneer.
