Procella Audio P8 THX certified Loudspeakers

Procella Audio has just recently enhanced the performance of its THX P8 loudspeaker.  The new P8 uses a new 1.5 inch neodymium compression driver and a new 8 inch woofer driver.  These enhancements allow the P8 to achieve greater high-frequency extension, higher power handling, lower distortion along with better dispersion.

 The P8 is designed for theatre applications, as a screen or surround channel speaker and has high-resolution and wide dynamic range capability to optimize output for 24 bit / 96KHz soundtracks.  SPL meets THX reference levels of a continuous 105 dB at 4 meters.  The THX certification supports the use of the P8 in professional rooms, including THX Certified Screening Rooms and THX Studios.

 The new version of the P8 is shipping now worldwide, and its price remains unchanged at a MSRP of $2,599.00 U.S./ each.
