Canadians Embrace the TAVES Consumer Electronics Show in a Big Way!
Canada has been long overdue for a consumer electronics show. This Oct. 30th to Nov. 1st, outstanding exhibits and thousands of attendees solidified the TAVES Consumer Electronics Show’s position as Canada’s top technology event of the year.
The 2015 edition of the TAVES Consumer Electronics Show was a remarkable success, establishing a new direction for the event, while breaking all expectations. For the first time in its history, the show brought together over 100 exhibitors and witnessed a staggering 55% increase in attendance. The show was enjoyed by over 6,500 visitors (about 700 industry professionals and 5,800 consumers). The new technology & innovation elements of TAVES attracted the most diverse, highly qualified audience to date – including business owners, families, teens and kids. The buzz surrounding the show and the quality of the exhibitors even attracted one of the world’s largest technology TV shows – Discovery Channel’s “Daily Planet” – to film parts of the show. This was of course in addition to the numerous other media outlets that covered the show. And if all of this wasn’t enough, Daily Planet has scheduled interviews with a number of exhibitors after the show.
Due to this marvelous success, TAVES expects to see even greater growth in 2016, attracting both local and international exhibitors across a wide range of categories, including robotics, wearables, smart devices, video gaming hardware & software, home & personal HiFi, home theatre, 3D printing, drones, remote control toys, digital imaging products, tech toys as well as electric vehicles and personal transportation devices.
