The Kryptos Music Server is the latest product to be released by Core Audio Technology. This new product combines audiophile-grade components with ultra high-bandwidth (18 GHz) linear power supplies, dedicated to each device, to provide cutting edge performance.

The Kryptos handles all modern formats, such as FLAC, DSD, WAV etc. and has expansion potential for future formats. It operates using a rebuilt Windows OS to minimize I/O processes and streamline audio/video signals. Music storage is by way of solid state hard-drives, with expansion slots for additional external storage. Network / LAN access provides for connectivity.

With a modular design the Kryptos promises some future proofing. It is built with a silent aluminum chassis to keep the system quiet and also cool. Integrated high-end graphics for gaming, video, HDTV/DVR, and blu-ray playback is included. An the Kryptos is also remote controllable via iPad.
