RHA, an audio product company out of Glasgow, Scotland is making it’s debut to the North American market with the launch of two headphone products, the RHA MA450i in-ear headphone and the RHA SA950i on-ear headphone. These two new products are being launched in Apple retail stores. These headphone products, according to RHA, have taken 3 years of research and development to create.
The MA450i is an in-ear headphone that is constructed from high-grade aircraft aluminum with attention focused on audio performance. Available in black and white, it comes packaged with seven sets of rubber eartips. The cable is wrapped in braided fabric, and has an iPhone compatible inline microphone with three buttons (volume up/down and speak).
The SA950i is an on-ear headphone with an old-school leather-like black and chrome finish. The SA950i has been designed to be lightweight, and comfortable, utilizing contour-forming earcups attached to adjustable chrome sliders. In addition, a 1.2m detachable, fabric braided cable with in-line remote rounds out the package. Using neodymium magnets housed within each earcup, these headphones promise studio-like performance.
Both units are covered by an impressive three-year warranty. The headphones will be available at Apple stores in North America, timed to coincide with Apple’s recent release of the new iPhone 5 and iPod Nano. MSRP is as follows:
RHA MA450i – $49.95 (Available now)
RHA SA950i – $59.95 (Available end of October)
