In the age of the iPhone and Android, BlackBerry has yet to be surpassed as the superior choice for business phones. While the dominant brands of the smart phone genre show no signs of letting up, BlackBerry has been able to retain its stake as the go-to brand for professionals nationwide. BlackBerry has several competitive business phones to offer, each with its own perks.

1. RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800
   This cell phone is popular for business professionals, but its touchscreen design also makes it a popular choice for non-business settings as well. It also features a physical keyboard which many prefer to the on-screen keyboard often found on touch-screen phones. The Torch features BlackBerry’s latest operating system, OS 6.
2. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700
   This phone is an updated, slimmed-down version of the 9650 model. While thought of as superior to the older Bold models, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 ships with the older BlackBerry OS 5 operating system, unlike Torch with its OS 6 version. Still, the full-size QWERTY keyboard and business-friendly apps and features make it a top choice for many businesspeople.
3. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9650
   Though the Bold is not quite as aesthetically-pleasing as the Torch, its functionality as a business phone makes it a favorite for many. Unlike the Torch, it ships with the BlackBerry OS 5 operating system, which frustrates some users. Its ability to roam worldwide makes it an excellent choice for world-traveling business professionals, however.
4. RIM BlackBerry Curve 8520
   This BlackBerry cell phone is equipped with all of the business-friendly apps and features that users have come to expect from the BlackBerry brand. Its design is sleek and fits nicely into the hand and has easy-to-use functionality. Its main drawback, though, is the lack of 3G capability. For those who care less about the bells and whistles of other smartphones, Curve can be a smart choice; however, for those who rely heavily on web capability, they may need to look elsewhere.
5. RIM BlackBerry Storm 2
   Like the Torch, BlackBerry Storm features a touch-screen interface, making it attractive for both business users and everyone else. Unlike the Torch, though, this phone does not have a physical QWERTY keyboard. For some, that’s a bonus, and for others it’s a drawback. The Storm 2 is a vast improvement over the original Storm and an overall solid choice.
