Pass Labs is adding to their XP line-stage audio preamplifier line-up, with their new XP-30 preamplifier. The XP30 will take the top-of-the line preamplifier spot in the Pass Labs XP product line, joining the existing XP-10 and XP-20. We can expect that the XP-30 will deliver leading-edge sonic performance.
The XP-30 uses totally separate chassis for each channel plus an additional separate power supply / control chassis. There are five main inputs, which are augmented with a Tape loop, plus both ‘Master’ and ‘Slave’ outputs. It also has dual sets of outputs with variable level adjustment between them for bi-amping, low impedance output and high gain and voltage capability. The XP-30 provides for both XLR and RCA connection options.
Production of the Pass Labs XP-30 will commence in August 2011 with an expected MSRP of: $16,500 U.S. More information is expected to be released soon.
